We welcome voices that offer fresh perspectives and deepen our understanding of the world—especially those from marginalized communities, elders, young visionaries, and those engaged in environmental and social transformation. If you’re exploring new ideas, unconventional mediums, or untold stories, we’d love to hear from you.

We welcome submissions in any format or medium

that align with our values, including:

Submission Guidelines

If you’d like to contribute to essentia, please include the following with your submission:

  • Your original piece (writing in PDF or DOCX; visuals in JPEG or PNG; audio in mp3; video in mp4 or downloadable link)

  • Your name

  • Pronouns

  • Age

  • Location

  • Website or portfolio (optional)

  • Social media handle (optional)

  • A brief biography or paragraph about yourself

  • A short explanation of your submission

 

Important Notes:

  • Your work should align with essentia’s values.

  • Visual work must be high-resolution and clearly labeled.

  • All submissions must be original. For collaborations, all contributors should be credited.

  • You retain full copyright, but by submitting, you grant Essentia permission to share and distribute your work for non-commercial purposes.

  • Your work may be published elsewhere, but please let us know if it has appeared in another publication.
